  • Keep logging the work you do

    • Keep sharing updates to your seniors in writing (preferably mail), create a process if required
      • Example: Every week share update of things you realised, or are working on
      • Example: Release mail: add key points of what changes have been done, and what is the impact
    • Keep logging good as well as bad instances
      • Do this for personal learnings
      • Do this for your subordinates and seniors - you shall need to file in reviews/feedback
  • Keep 1:1 with

    • your subordinates
    • your manager
    • your skip manager
    • your peers
      • same level (maybe same team/org or diff teams)
      • shall help you know what is happening with others at your level
      • even help in collaborating since you shall have personal equation
  • Keep giving interviews

    • You get to know your worth
    • You are always ready to switch
  • Keep taking interviews

    • Prepare your intro, and structure for the interview
    • Keep ready with problems you want to ask, pointers you want to judge
